Over 1000,000 guests welcomed through SSE doors last year
London’s SSE arena in Wembley appear to be going from strength to strength with 2018 being their most attended year to date. The SSE welcomed more than 1 Million visitors into the 12,500 capacity stadium last year. Opening it’s doors to guests for a variety of landmark events such as;

These events are just a few of the 157 performances that The SSE Arena, Wembley hosted in 2018. The mega venue’s general manager John Drury released a statement on the arena’s recent performance.
“Our reputation as one of the UK’s most iconic concert and events venues rang true in 2018. With a stunning array of events across music, comedy, sport and entertainment, we helped to create memories that will last a lifetime. Any venue is defined by the people who run it and I’m proud that our dedicated team delivered such a strong and varied year.
“Thanks as well to all the artists, agents, managers, promoters and our partners who have of course been a key part of our success. Our building is 85 years old this year, but constant reinvention and innovation ensure we are ready to hit more heights through 2019 and beyond.”
The SSE Arena, Wembley also plan on opening a new 200 capacity Empire Bar & Grill and accompanying 50 capacity VIP Empire lounge. It’s satisfying to hear one of London’s premier venues is making further innovations and diversifying in it’s developments.
