NotLost are pleased to announce that we have been accepted onto the government’s G-Cloud 11 platform. Following an extensive application process, we now have our services listed on their Digital Marketplace.

What is G-Cloud 11 and the Digital Marketplace?

The G-Cloud 11 framework provides an agreement between the government and suppliers of Cloud-based services. In addition to this, companies which are part of the G-Cloud 11 framework have their services listed on the Digital Marketplace, a type of online government directory.

Public sector organisations can browse the Digital Marketplace for Cloud hosting, software and support service providers, knowing that each company has been through a thorough assessment process.

This process includes steps such as checking credit and financial stress scores, in addition to queries and random spot checks. These stages ensure that the service provider is suitable for being listed on the Digital Marketplace, and can therefore become part of the G-Cloud 11 framework.

NotLost is listed as a Cloud software supplier. According to crowncommercial.gov, the G-Cloud platform provides ‘access to the latest technology and innovation.’ Obviously, NotLost are pleased to be part of this forward-thinking government platform.

What’s Good about the Digital Marketplace?

The Digital Marketplace is not just a space where Cloud-based service providers are listed; in fact, the Marketplace makes it much easier for buyers to both find and buy Cloud computing services.

Buyers can purchase services without running a full OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union) procurement process each time. Therefore, buying services through the G-Cloud 11 framework is faster and cheaper than individual procurement contracts.

In other words, this is a positive for both the buyer and supplier. It clearly gives NotLost another reason to feel excited about being a part of the framework!

G-Cloud 11 and the Digital Marketplace provide a smoother service for both buyer and supplier, and increase the customer’s peace-of-mind. This is something which we at NotLost are eager about, and we are excited to see what new opportunities will come of this framework and innovative platform.
